Germany have rounded out their Group G campaign in resounding fashion – and now so too have the boys at Talking Fussball. Matt Hermann and Niklas Wildhagen got together to recount how Germany got past the USMNT, as well as to mull over what steps they might want to take to trap the desert foxes of Algeria in round two.

On the agenda: Bayern Munich’s comeback against Stuttgart in midweek, that included a dream strike from FCB’s Thiago Alcantara.

The transfer window has almost past and the panel wrap up some of the moves to happen a day before the end of the period. There has been some moves in and out of Stuttgart, including exits for Christian Molinaro and William Kvist. Jermaine Jones is heading to Besiktas and Gladbach’s Luuk de Jong is off on loan to Newcastle United.
